Depends on the activity. Asics are great for running. Lifting, I find that underarmour is ideal, wrestling shoes are good and socks are best.

I like Asics overall, including for lifting. I havent heard or seen underarmour shoes, but I will look into it, thanks!

The structure in athetic shoes breaks down in about 60 days no matter how much they cost.

You can get shoes from Payless or the high end stores, the important thing is that they feel comfortable and that you like them.

I believe that asics are the best shoes I have ever purchased. I have worn this type of shoe for about 8 years now in and out of the gym and I absolutely love it. I bought a pair for my boyfriend to wear and he has loved them ever since, and he is a heavy lifter in the gym also. There a great shoe for running if your into that because they provide a great deal of support. They could be considered a little expensive but depends on what you think is expensive. I have usually paid around 70-90 dollars, but theres always sales on them at places like foot locker. I highly suggest giving asics a try!!

Thanks! i ended up going to a shoes store and they fit me for shoes by recording how i ran on the treadmill, it was really cool, but i got a pair of Mizuno's they're really comfortable and i've already worked out in them, i love them!

I've bought Nike, Reebok, New Balance, Sketchers... you name it!!!

If your "serious" at the gym go with Otomix, they are made specially for the weight room.

If fitness is enough I think Reebok has the best prices and confort.
